As a non-profit organization, McKinney Summer Musicals relies on a variety of funding sources to present outstanding community theatre musicals at affordable ticket prices. Ticket sales alone do not sustain this endeavor. Only support from committed businesses, foundations and individuals make these programs possible. By working together, we can continue to enrich the lives of audiences and our community through extraordinary musical theater.
Giving to McKinney Summer Musicals does so much more than bring entertaining musical theater presentations to McKinney.
In 2007, approximately 2500 individuals attended our production of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” As a result of our audience and generous sponsors, we were able to establish a fine-arts endowment which will be used to award scholarships to McKinney Independent School District students through the McKinney Education Foundation.
The goals of McKinney Summer Musicals are to provide performance opportunities, sustain the community summer musicals program and continue support for fine-arts scholarships and education.
A donation to McKinney Summer Musicals has far-reaching impact in our community and beyond!
Individual Support
Your support - through a tax-deductible contribution to our annual fund, a tribute gift or a matching gift - can help McKinney Summer Musicals continue to bring the life-enhancing experience of live musical theater to the entire community.
Corporate Support
Corporate contributions are an investment in McKinney Summer Musicals’ ability to enhance the quality of life in our community through incomparable performances, as well as enriching outreach through educational support, scholarships and various other objectives.
Tribute Gifts
McKinney Summer Musicals is pleased and proud to accept gifts made in memory of loved ones or in honor of family, friends or special occasions.
To make a Tribute Gift, provide the tribute information with the name of the person in whose name you want to make the gift, the occasion (if any), and the name and address of any person who should receive a notification of your gift. We do not inform that person of the amount of your gift, only that we have received it.
In-Kind Gifts
Contributions of goods and services are invaluable to McKinney Summer Musicals’ annual operations. Set and prop contributions, volunteer public relations personnel, printing; these are just a small sampling of some of the in-kind services we need.
