After a successful run from 1990 to 1996, McKinney Summer Musicals was reinstated in 2007. The reinstated community theatre musicals experienced a remarkable run in the inaugural presentation of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and have continued to experience rapid growth and increased support. People throughout the McKinney area and Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex come to audition for the Summer shows and to be a part of the McKinney Summer Musicals cast and crew. Audiences express strong appreciation for the high degree of excellence and professionalism presented in our shows. The overwhelming attitude expressed by everyone is appreciation and enthusiasm that McKinney Summer Musicals is BACK!
Our Mission
The mission of McKinney Summer Musicals is to provide high quality, family-oriented musical theatre and to promote, improve and sustain the fine arts in the McKinney area with the involvement of vocalists, dancers, actors, instrumentalists, and artists in allied fields. McKinney Summer Musicals is also dedicated to supporting fine arts education.
